News of the authorities seizing an e-scooter from a woman who was riding on the road was published today.
Apparently, she had been riding a 2-seater scooter with her young child as a pillion rider on a road in Punggol.
Now that the Active Mobility Bill has been passed into law, it is to be expected that there will be a wave of enforcement action taken by LTA to get people to toe the line and follow the regulations.
We urge all our customers and friends to follow the law, and use pavements whenever possible. You should not be riding on the road when the pavement is available. This ensures that you're on the right side of the law, and also ensures your own safety.
For those of you who are still unclear about the law, please read our blog post here:

Well done, LTA!
